Northwest Corridor

Beginning in the late 1950's and early 1960's, central Colorado Springs began to overflow in all directions.  Development in the Northwest Corridor stretches from I-25 all the way to the base of mountains to the west. The Northwest has several great city parks and boasts some of the highest-rated schools in Colorado Springs.  With lots of ranchers and multi-level homes, the Northwest has attracted many young families in recent years. The crowning jewel of the Northwest Corridor is the United Stated Air Force Academy, in the furthest north west corner of the city of Colorado Springs.
