GOLD HILL MESA

This master plan neighborhood offers a unique take on suburban living. Situated on a bluff above the city, Gold Hill Mesa seeks to combine old world charm with modern conveniences. A master-planned community with typical amenities such as work-out facilities and common space, Gold Hill Mesa also offers a unique layout, with garages relegated to alley-ways behind the homes, leaving nothing but walkways and green space between the front of homes. Proximity to both Old Colorado City and trails in Red Rock Open Space, Bear Creek Park and the base of Pikes Peak, give residents of Gold Hill Mesa plenty of options for activities.

OLD COLORADO CITY

The original capital of the Colorado territory, Old Colorado City is steeped in history. Coined the “Wild West” in the 1890s, Old Colorado City has maintained its independent spirit, despite being incorporated into Colorado Springs in 1917. Downtown has seen a recent revitalization, with new shops, restaurants and art galleries popping up along the main thoroughfare, Colorado Blvd. In a similar vein, the original homes of the late-1800’s are being renovated up and down the quaint streets of Old Colorado City.

MANITOU SPRINGS

Known for its eclectic vibe and Old West downtown, Manitou Springs is a tiny town just west of Colorado Springs. Located in a small, deep canyon, Manitou Springs is home to one of the most famous hikes in Colorado, The Manitou Incline. It also has several great restaurants, art galleries, and the century old Penny Arcade. At the end of the canyon is the newly renovated Cog Railway, which takes visitor up a scenic 13 miles to the summit of Pikes Peak. Fountain Creek cuts the town in half, as charming, turn-of-the-century houses creep up the sides of the canyon walls.

CEDAR HEIGHTS

Sitting high above the city with spectacular views from Pikes Peak to downtown city lights, Cedar Heights is one of the most sought after neighborhoods in Colorado Springs, with luxury homes set into the rugged mountain landscape. Tucked into the hills directly above Garden of the Gods, there are hundreds of acres of open space used by residents for walking, hiking and mountain biking. While most sites have been developed, some lots remain available for building. Cedar Heights is a great combination of mountain living and city life.

KISSING CAMELS

Set up on a mesa above town and anchored by the exceptional Garden of the Gods Club and Kissing Camels Gold Course, the Kissing Camels neighborhood has some of the priciest real estate in town. Along with the gated community developed in the early 2000’s, spectacular modern new-builds are popping up along the west- side of the mesa, offering jaw dropping views of Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak beyond.
